Dr. Ramona Ponce Graduated from Ross University in 2023 and moved to Panama City in 2024. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their families, along with her dog and two cats. In her free time, she loves kayaking with friends, swimming, and fishing.
Patrick Hayden, DVM
Patrick Hayden, DVM
Dr. Hayden graduated from the University of Illinois School of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He worked in several mixed and small animal practices in Wisconsin and Arkansas before moving to Panama City, Florida, in 2014. Outside of work Dr. Hayden enjoys traveling, fishing, and spending time with his wife, dog, and 2 cats.
Lauren Kalama, Hospital Manager
Lauren Kalama, Hospital Manager
Lauren has been with Agape Animal since January 2014. She started as an experienced veterinarian technician and quickly learned the responsibilities of our receptionist position (CSR). After years of showing proficiency and consistency at completing both positions, she became our hospital manager. She enjoys leading her hospital staff while continuing to assist in her patient/client’s care.
Lauren is the lucky owner of Kaipo, a slightly chunky chihuahua mix, Lani, a silly, sweet hearted, Siberian husky, and Koa, who is an all-white, handsome feline.
In her free time, she holds the role of Team Mom for Impact Nation AAU Basketball team, that her son plays on, and her husband coaches.
I’m dedicated and passionate about offering the utmost care to our patients while educating their parents on how to do so as well.

Dana, CSR & Technician
Dana has worked at Agape since June of 2016. In 2015, her family moved to Panama City from Anchorage, AK for my husband’s job at Tyndall AFB.
She enjoys crafts, shopping, going to antique stores and singing in her church’s choir.
Dana’ family has 2 dogs Bailey (chocolate lab) Charlie (Boykin spaniel) and 3 cats Harley, Jack, Scruffy.
I have enjoyed working with our many patients and clients over the years and look forward to continuing the relationship and care we have for our clients and their fur babies!

Audra, CSR & Technician
Audra has been in the vet world for about 16 years now. She joined Agape in November of 2018.
When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends; paddle boarding, bike riding, the beach, antiquing and thrifting.
Her pets are a 3- legged Labradoodle named Butters, and five cats, Hank, Kabal, Maxwell, Lizzy Mama and Molly.
